  • ½ black pepper

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 lb ground turkey, (93/7 lean)
  • 1/3 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tbs parsley, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 tbs scallions, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 tbs red pepper, finely chopped (hot or mild depending upon meal plan, optional)

The Process

1. Prepare the Bouillon Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the Better Than Bouillon and hot water. Stir until the bouillon is dissolved. Let cool.

2. Add Dry Ingredients: Add the garlic powder, sea salt, black pepper, and oregano to the bowl.

3. Combine Wet Ingredients: Add the Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, and beaten egg to the dry ingredients. Mix well.

4. Incorporate the Turkey: Add the ground turkey to the wet ingredients and mix gently until just combined. Overmixing can lead to tough faux ground beef.

5. Add Bread Crumbs: Gradually add the bread crumbs, mixing until just incorporated.
