  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin

  • ½ teaspoon dried onion flakes
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • ½ cup tomato puree

  • 1 pound ground turkey (93/7 lean)

The Process

1. Combine Spices: In a small bowl, combine the chili powder, cumin, paprika, sugar, salt, onion flakes, oregano, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.

2. Add Spices and Wet Ingredients: In a larger mixing bowl, add the spice blend, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, water, and tomato puree to the ground turkey.

3. Fry the Turkey: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the turkey mixture and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
