Another exciting version of the Frency-styled burger! This recipe delivers a burst of flavor in every bite. Combining white wine, herbs, and zesty lemon juice creates a sophisticated and satisfying meal.
There are two versions of the French-styled turkey burger. Take a look at Version No. 1.
What You Will Need
Ingredients
- ¼ cup white wine
- 1 tsp thyme
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbs lemon juice
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1/3 cup bread crumbs
- 1 lb ground turkey, (93/7)
The Process
1. Combine Wet Ingredients: In a small bowl, whisk together white wine, thyme, salt, pepper, garlic powder, lemon juice, and olive oil.
2. Mix with Dry Ingredients: Add bread crumbs to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
3. Incorporate the Turkey: Gently fold in the ground turkey until just combined. Avoid overmixing to prevent tough burgers.
4. Form the Patties: Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form into patties about ½ inch thick.
5. Cook the Burgers:
- Grill: Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- Skillet: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
6. Serve: Serve burgers on your favorite buns with your preferred toppings, such as arugula, tomato, onion, and a creamy Dijon mustard sauce.
